Any excuse to head to Nagshead is fine by me. I had the pleasure of capturing these lovebirds engagements in Manteo, not far from where they live! They showed me the area where they'd be saying their 'I do's', we shared our massive love of donuts (Duck Donuts to be exact) and had the best time in the sunshine! We also had the pleasure of staying for a long family weekend thanks to these two and their rental spot! Amanda is so laid back, Dillon is sweet as pie; together these two are simply the best. I couldn't wait for their Manteo Wedding and it was nothing short of amazing. Looming clouds but it never poured; a cool and comfortable breeze which is basically unheard of for this time of year. A perfect 'first look' and portraits to follow in the same spot where they shared engagement pictures. A sweet sprinkle of rain as they walked down the aisle and shared in a beautiful ceremony. My favorite part was the succulents everywhereee! Table centerpieces, adorning the cake, in Amanda's bouquet and best of all, Dillon and his men sported the best socks//withhh succulents! Amanda's mother is responsible for all the succulents, she planted and loved on those plants for a year creating the perfect touch for her daughters Wedding Day. My black thumb was so envious and in love. We can't forget the donut bar, because, duh.
It truly was the best day with the best people. Such a wonderful Wedding Party, such a loving family, such a kind and beautiful couple. We love you guys and we are so thankful you chose us! I only wish we could've made another long weekend out of your perfect day! Dang kids!
