I loooooove these two!! SO much fun, such a perfect day! Katie is easily the sweetest girl on earth; so genuine, so kind and simply beautiful inside and out. Brandon, hilarious and handsome. High School sweethearts and a match made in heaven! You can tell from the start that they balance eachother perfectly, enjoy the simple things in life together as well as the big things. I know they have the brightest future ahead of them and it will be filled with nonstop laughter and teasing--and I can't think of anything better. It rained cats and dogs for over a week leading up to their big day--Katie even joked about how she went out to her Dad's house where the Wedding was taking place; her shovel in hand, she dug a hole and placed a bottle of bourbon upside down//according to old wives tales it's supposed to ward off rain on your Wedding Day. Gotta love heart and determination haha! I have no clue if it was the bourbon, luck or the good Lord but it rained off and on leading up to their 'First Look' and then ceased for the rest of the day. I'll take little miracles wherever I can get them! So ladies, a little Southern Wedding Tradition for ya and it just may have worked ;)
The sun was shining bright, rain boots on, mud sloshing and all; these two shared their perfect First Look in a field of butter cups before sharing their 'I do's' on the same green grass Katie used to play on as a little girl. Nothing beats a backyard Wedding with the sweetest of charms and touches. Peanuts as favors, donuts as a Wedding cake and a long dirt road leading home. Love you all and thank you so very much for allowing us to share in the best day ever!!
