In honor of Memorial Day fast approaching, I can't think of a better session to share with you all! The sweetest Chelsea, editor of Tidewater and Tulle ,Hampton Roads Inspiration Blog, was on the hunt for a shoot to share on Memorial Day--one that incorporated our strong, local military presence. My fellow fabulous friends, Amy and Melissa, of Style By Design took that idea and ran with it! They executed things perfectly right down to their personal choice and stock of linens, tableware, chairs and stationary. Amy even incorporated real pieces of 'coral fans' that she brought back from vacationing around the world--personally, that was one of my favorite touches! It was such an honor to be asked to capture this shoot and I couldn't be happier with the set up provided! The florals by Roost Flowers and Design were the perfect touch of earthy/natural beauty and the cake by Patti Cakes was absolutely delicious--we were sure to dive right in after the proper amount of pictures were taken ;) Lastly, Prim&Proper Salon/studio was responsible for our gorgeous models 'natural' hair and make-up look and the perfect sweetheart neckline, lace covered gown was graciously provided by my loves at Pure English ! A Huge THANK YOU to all involved and an even bigger THANK YOU to all those who protect and serve so we can live in the land of the free!
